Friday was a great day for photos – it didn’t rain in the afternoon when we were doing Debra and John’s pre-wedding session! We met at the gorgeous Lambeth Reserve in Picnic Point which has a great walking path along the Georges River. Although it was a pre-wedding session we could probably call it Elana’s Portrait Session because she was such a natural in front of the camera and loved posing for me! And Carina was such a cutie and was attached to her Daddy! Deb and John, I look forward to the wedding in May! Enjoy these pics in the meantime.

It is starting to sink in, my own flesh and blood is having a baby in something like 6 weeks…woah! I wish you all the best Dude (I call my sister Dude, she calls me Dude, it works :) ). And I can’t wait to meet little Sam (non-gender specific nickname for bub) and I promise, I will keep the camera away from my face for at least 10 minutes in a row so Sam will know the identity of his/her Aunty!

Yesterday, Mum, Marnie’s friend Ally and I threw a Baby Shower for Marnie. As we do not know the sex of the baby, we kept to a green, white and yellow theme and was all clucky when Ally presented the adorable Peas in a Pod serviettes! We played a few games – Guess the Celebrity Baby Names, Marnie got 100%; Guess the circumference of Marnie’s Belly; pin the button on the belly (like pin the tail on the donkey) and we…ate and ate! The food was great, thanks to everyone who helped out. And Ally, those cupcakes, we must get the recipe! But Marnie topped it off with delicious fairy bread!

Instead of gifts, Marnie asked if everyone could bring a bead that she would then string together and wear during the birth – I thought this was a great idea and she scored well with some fancy and very decorative beads donated.

Also thanks to Ann and Emma for the calming underpants…they were a hit (as you can see in the pics). The last pic is a classic – the ladies pretending to be in labour!

I will let the pics speak for themselves…

Last weekend I was at Narrabeen with my friends soaking up the beach atmosphere. Kathryn and her family (including Ajay’s girlfriend Hayley) were kind enough to travel the distance from Erskine Park to have our portrait session as it was the only time I was available when they were! Half way through the session, everyone was relaxed and playing up for the camera and we were having a lot of fun!! We walked along North Narrabeen baths and the parklands alongside the Lake, it was a really nice spot and very popular with the locals!
