The most relaxed bride ever! Thank you Kim for being so open and relaxed about everything – I can see you really enjoyed your day and I couldn’t stop smiling when I saw that permanent grin on Lincoln’s face during the ceremony. The Japanese Gardens are within the grounds of the Campbelltown Arts Centre and also has the most delicious cafe that caters for functions. I highly recommend the Arts Centre Cafe – the quality of service and food and you have so many fun and romantic locations for photos all in one spot. I would love to see more weddings here!

I was very impressed with the quality of the floral arrangements -  Macarthur Floral Creations.

When Mel contacted me about her wedding 4 months ago and told me a few details, I was positively drooling! A vintage picture theatre ceremony, an insanely gorgeous dress and friends coming from Norway and Denmark. For those who know me well, know I love Scandinavia! Mel’s dad is a songwriter and he wrote them a special song for the day and Mel asked all the female guests to bring a flower and a bouquet was made up for her before the ceremony. The first dance was on the beach and we were lucky enough to hang out with one of the lifeguards. Mel and Kai are such a relaxed and romantic couple and I felt very privileged to capture their memories for them. I love it when I cry at weddings :)

I drove up the day before the wedding to check out the venues and get some shots of the theatre that I knew wouldn’t be possible on the day. Please enjoy the photos from this beautifully unique wedding.

I am encouraging my wedding clients to choose a location that has meaning for them for their portraits. Rebecca and Ryan chose Georges Fair Estate where their house is being built. We had a lot of fun being unconventional with poses sitting on the kitchen counter, holding planks of wood and hiding in cupboards for smooches! We also came across an abondoned car that is the next to the Estate’s grassy open areas.

Felicity has been planning this wedding for 2 years and she told me her gorgeous wedding dress was hanging up at her parent’s place for 18 months waiting for this day. What an incredible day with unique bridesmaid dresses, riding in hummer style, an emotional church ceremony, drinks at Watsons Bay Hotel and an entertainment slideshow at the Watersedge reception. Felicity’s ‘something borrowed’ earrings from Michael’s Aunty – spectacular diamonds and sapphires – she looked like a very bright sun sparkling in the church – just stunning!

Church – York Street Anglican

Reception – Waters Edge

Location Photos – Macquarie Lighthouse, Watsons Bay Hotel and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Stretch Hummer – thank you John you were great – HF Wedding Cars

Felicity’s dress – Maggie Sottero
