Simple elegance and highly emotional describes this wedding. Jane and Aaron are so open and honest about their feelings in front of everyone and as we found out later, this encouraged the guests to do the same. I sometimes call myself an emotional photographer  – I love being a part of all these moments – it is such a blessing but also a huge responsibility and I welcome it with open arms! LOVE is my drug :) This wedding was held at Jane’s parent’s absolutely breathtaking property in the Blue Mountains.

Dress: Wendy Makin – Penrith Bridal Centre

Flowers: The Little Flower Shop, Wentworth Falls – highly recommended!!!

Hair Artist: Janelle at Sunshine Hair Studio

Make-up Artist: Trish Carnall, at Patricia’s Place

Celebrant/Minister: Tina Marie from Sassy Ceremonies

David’s suit is from Tarocash.

Stationery: We made all our invitations and placecards/thank you cards, most of the items were from Spotlight.

The cake is from Your Exquisite Cake.

Please enjoy the gorgeousness that is Jane and Aaron ♥

This was the second attempt of getting married for Janelle and Mark as the Icelandic Volcano eruption prevented their travel (and their guests) from the UK in April. It was a very stressful experience but Mark told me that going though this meant that they were even more sure that they wanted to be married and married at the Jenolan Caves (past the Blue Mountains). It is a tricky thing to climb up very narrow stairs with lots of equipment – lucky my husband was there to help :) . The day went perfectly and there were many tears of joy (and relief that this day had actually happened!). Mark and Janelle decided to have photos together before the ceremony in a ‘first look’ session. It was so emotional and I was bawling my eyes out – I am a sucker for the groom’s response when he first sees the bride :) Thanks to Domino at Caves House for all her assistance before and on the day.

Shrek and his princess, Elyse were a load of laughs last Saturday when they tied the knot at the gorgeous property, Loxley on Bellbird Hill at the foot of the Blue Mountains. The temperature was 20 degrees, the sun was out, Elyse and her bridesmaids were ready on time, the boys were ready, everything was perfect! I was… amused when Elyse giggled with nerves throughout the ceremony, she was so excited! Elyse and Shrek’s little girl Eden was very well behaved the entire day and when it came to the big group shot and everyone had to put their hands in the air, Eden raised hers – not bad for a baby! The service from the staff at Loxley was excellent as well as the food, I highly recommend it!
