I had the privilege of spending Christmas Eve with the Dyer family and their new little 6 week old daughter, Jane. She is definitely a cutie and came out with a few surprises during our session Thank you to heather and Grant for welcoming me into their hoem and allowing me to capture these special moments. Here are a few favourites from our session.

I am a firm believer that it is never too early to be prepared for Christmas (I am sure you know what it is like with the last minute rush to write cards and buy presents and prepare food and the house!). I have a big storage box that I fill throughout the year with presents – it is a pleasant surprise when I realise in November when wrapping presents that I have got almost everyone covered.

I have found the most popular gifts by far are photo-based – I always get overhelming responses when I give relatives and friends photo gifts. Have you considered giving gifts such as albums, prints and canvases?

I have started designing Christmas Cards to be offered as part of my portrait session packages. An example is below. I will be out of the country from mid October to mid November so I urge you to book your sessions before I leave so you allow enough time for design, printing and posting your cards and presents.
