Simple elegance and highly emotional describes this wedding. Jane and Aaron are so open and honest about their feelings in front of everyone and as we found out later, this encouraged the guests to do the same. I sometimes call myself an emotional photographer – I love being a part of all these moments – it is such a blessing but also a huge responsibility and I welcome it with open arms! LOVE is my drug This wedding was held at Jane’s parent’s absolutely breathtaking property in the Blue Mountains.
Dress: Wendy Makin – Penrith Bridal Centre
Flowers: The Little Flower Shop, Wentworth Falls – highly recommended!!!
Hair Artist: Janelle at Sunshine Hair Studio
Make-up Artist: Trish Carnall, at Patricia’s Place
Celebrant/Minister: Tina Marie from Sassy Ceremonies
David’s suit is from Tarocash.
Stationery: We made all our invitations and placecards/thank you cards, most of the items were from Spotlight.
The cake is from Your Exquisite Cake.
Please enjoy the gorgeousness that is Jane and Aaron ♥

Anna and I were required to cover the Bride’s getting ready photos and formal portraits for this wedding in Kouvola before we headed back to Helsinki to photograph Paivi and Jukka’s Wedding at the Lutheran Cathedral. What I loved about Kouvola were all the rich yellow crop fields – just a shame we couldn’t get close enough to one so they could ‘frolic’ through the over abundance of colour! They were able to secure a 1948 Mercedes-Benz 170V for their wedding car. Satu’s dress is from Ladylike Wedding Gown Boutique and the medallion attached to her bouquet with the photo of her father was made at Milla Noora – Website is only in Finnish.
Satu has the cutest smile I have seen on a bride and you can see Tero is absolutely bowled over by his bride. The feeling to this wedding day was relaxed and everyone was having a lot of fun. Satu and Tero were happy to play in front of the camera which brought out their devotion to each other.

The Finnish will understand the sign on the right

Seeing each other for the first time. Satu starting shedding tears and it made me do the same too! Lucky I could hide behind my camera

Michal and Robert chose a beautiful heritage-listed property, Parma Farm with old sheds, a dam, tree-lined country road, a french inspired country house and much more. Here are some pics from our hour together as the sun was setting. My favourite was grabbing the tattered old armchairs and putting them in the meadow next to the house, Michal couldn’t stop saying how relaxed she felt! And I couldn’t stop saying how much I loved the armchairs

The horses didn’t want to play!

I can’t take credit for this idea – this was Robert being creative saying “I Do”

This is Michal’s fave along with the one below with the girls and her father.
