When you have the right dress it seems everything else falls into place! Lou originally had a princess dress and it just didn’t feel right to her so she designed her own dress and had it made and she just looked so confident and so stylish! The whole day was about being relaxed, having fun and spending time with the guests. Macquarie Links Golf Club offered superb service and were very accommodating to the bridal party during the location photos.

Emma and Tim booked me for their wedding almost 18 months ago and so we have been chatting about ideas and what is happening for their wedding for a long time. Unfortunately there is one major thing that you can’t control on the day and that is the weather. It rained almost the entire day – we were just lucky that it w…asn’t really heavy when we went out to La Perouse. The bridal party looked incredible and they really were troopers being wet and cold in the rain! Emma and Tim have been together for 7 years and their strong connection and love for each other we really evident the whole day and especially during the speeches and the ceremony – there were tears – from everyone and especially me!

Ceremony – St Michael’s, Daceyville

A beautiful day for a beautiful wedding at Monash Country Club at Ingleside on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Vanessa and Rob were so much fun and so relaxed – it seems I attract the relaxed brides which is great! Vanessa opted for my favourite colour for her theme – red! The red really looked great against the golf greens!

Rob is a member of Monash Country Club and loves his golf – compliments to the event coordinator, Angela and the Club’s staff for great food, atmosphere and service!

The course was damp so we were limited with where we could go but we had a lot of fun around the lake and trees! The ceremony was on the balcony of the Club overlooking the course which was gorgeous! And the flowers were immaculate. I spoke to the florist, Cathy of Botania Flower Merchants and told her how impressed I was with her work. She has an incredible attention to detail. If you want a Northern Beaches florist who can produce incredibly beautiful and fresh and perfect all day flowers, then check out Cathy’s website here. The flower girl, Melody and Page Boy, Max stole the day though – very cute in their red and white and black outfits!

It is so lovely when you come to the wedding day and I am referred to as ‘Gemma’ rather than ‘the photographer.’ This is what I aim to do for each wedding, I want my clients to think of me as their friend, not just someone they are paying to provide a product to them. It is so much more than that, it is a service I provide, for them and their family to feel comfortable with with what I am doing and trust in my abilities to provide photos they will love!

Katie and Jono were married by Nathan Reid at Epping Baptist Church and the girls were made up by Hair We Go and Natalie Cummins Beauty Therapy at Normanhurst. The location photos were done at Macquarie University under what Katie calls the ‘kissing trees’ because it looks like they are leaning in to kiss and Muirfield Golf Club provided the reception (and 5 minutes with a golf cart).
