When a couple tell me they are not photogenic (and it happens sometimes), I usually expect them to be quite awkward in front of the camera and not feel comfortable. But Annie and Dan were naturals and are absolutely amazing in front of the camera so all I can say is maybe they are good liars :P hehe But seriously, I want to thank them so much for being patient to have the most perfect weather for their sunrise session on Saturday. We postponed I think it was 5 times because of the unpredictable summer storms. Annie and I had been chatting for months about this session and we really couldn’t believe when it came along! Annie and Dan have a great connection and were so cute when I told them to stand in front of a stone wall and be goofy, there was ear-pulling, tickling, fish kissing and model posing! Thank you sooo sooo much guys, I can’t wait for March 6 at The Mandalay in Lane Cove!

A beautiful location, I really didn’t know where to start, a lot of the flowers were in bloom and everyone was enjoying a picnic for father’s day! Taryn and Bowen are a very sweet couple who you can tell instantly that they care about each other a lot. Although Taryn in her career is a performer, it was Bowen who was pulling out all the moves, wooing his lovely lady. Feast your eyes on the beautiful Camellia Gardens at Caringbah in the Sutherland Shire and the beautiful couple to marry in November this year.

A lot of the couples who are getting married these days have kids already so it is always great to do a family portrait session before the wedding :) So much joy and love radiates from this lovely family and you will be able to see it in the photos. Please let me introduce you to you – Lincoln, Kim and Mac!

Mac was such a great help for me on the day dragging my camera bag – he offered and wouldn’t let me take it – what a sweetie :)

I have found my new favourite location for couple and family photos! Bec and Charlie were so wonderful in being adventurous – including climbing trees, braving the spider infested jungle and Charlie going topless (these pics are for Bec’s eyes only)!

I can’t tell you how lucky I feel each week to spend this time with each couple. I look forward to your big wedding in November and keep up the great ‘work’ at being an incredible couple :)

I have two other portrait sessions that I need to post from a couple of weeks back so please come back in the next week for more fun pics!
