What a visual feast – of the gourmet and human variety! Karen and Simon went all out to recreate the picnics they enjoy at Mt Annan Botanic Gardens. Simon even got an apron made up for the occasion. Just a shame we worked out the BBQ wasn’t working properly and when we were doing some other photos on the picnic blanket some birds swooped down and took a corner off one of sausages sizzling on the hot plate! When Rachael told me they wanted to do something at the Royal National Park for their Engagement Portrait Session and that they would be bringing a bright yellow canoe, gumboots and a steel bucket I jumped for joy! I get so excited when I see props! Rach and Mark love the outdoors and this was a perfect setting for them. She also brought the gorgeous field flowers and I provided the bright umbrella.
