Finland is an incredibly beautiful country in summer with lots of green and bright yellow fields and wildflowers everywhere. There are many potted colourful flowers everywhere – in the town centres and on window sills so you can’t help but smile when you are in Finland :)

I met with Nina and Timo the night before there wedding at 11:30pm and because of all our emails it felt like we already knew each other. Nina told me she was nervous about the photos and couldn’t see how they could look like the couples from my previous work. I told her all we needed to do was to relax and have fun and that is exactly what happened! There was so much laughter and romance that I wondered seriously what Nina was worried about. I am sure you will be able to tell from the photos that they both look great!

The ceremony and reception were held at Katajiston Kartano which had incredible service and food – I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a beautiful location and great entertaining for any special occasions!  They also have cabins that your guests can stay at which remind me of the traditional Finnish Summer Cottages.

We did the portraits before the ceremony at the incredibly beautiful Aulanko Park which has its own castle and is only just across the road from the reception. The bride stayed at the Rantasipi Spa Hotel which is also just across the road from the park and the castle!

And lucky me, Nina and Timo surprised me with a kiss :)

The most relaxed bride ever! Thank you Kim for being so open and relaxed about everything – I can see you really enjoyed your day and I couldn’t stop smiling when I saw that permanent grin on Lincoln’s face during the ceremony. The Japanese Gardens are within the grounds of the Campbelltown Arts Centre and also has the most delicious cafe that caters for functions. I highly recommend the Arts Centre Cafe – the quality of service and food and you have so many fun and romantic locations for photos all in one spot. I would love to see more weddings here!

A small, simple ceremony and celebration at the Rydges Bankstown on the Hume Highway saw Anne and Neil married. I was asked to be there for two hours so only a few shots to share. Anne beautiful dress is a lovely shade of pink and after much searching she found it at Sweethearts Bridal Boutique at Blacktown.
