I love that Fiona brought all different colours and items together to make up the personality of their wedding. The Billy Button flowers, the origami cranes on the table, the cute banner on top of the cake and the little props for the formal photos to make them look less formal ;) I loved their willingness to try out something random like standing on a seat not sitting on it and also their relaxed nature. The day ran smoothly, no rain and the guests were having a blast. Verde Restaurant was very good – service and food and offers an intimate atmosphere for smaller weddings. Thank you Fiona and Shane for trusting me and allowing me and my ‘twin’ to be a part of your day.

It seems March was the month of the rainy weddings. But that did not dampen the mood of my clients including Natalia and Con who were so relaxed and just went with the flow of the day. It was also the day they had their son Lucas christened. What a fun celebration with lovely people. My assistant and I went home with big smiles on our faces – it was just wonderful to be surrounded with such loving people and those who place such a huge emphasis on the importance of family. Greek Orthodox church was in Darlinghurst and the reception was held at Catalina in Rose Bay. Wedding dress and shoes by Lisa Ho. Naomi and Nick’s Wedding is not far away so we decided instead of a big portrait session that I could take a few pics at my home which is also where I have my showroom. It worked in perfectly with their love of vintage 1970s style and my crumbling old backyard ;) . We did this all in less than 5 minutes and it was almost dark. Considering they had never met me before I think we did pretty well for bringing out some lovely and natural moments!

Everyone knew Tegan and Mark were meant to be together. It just took them a while to recognise it themselves! Chatting at parties for hours and going on international trips together…When they both realised their special connection there was no separating them. Tegan came to see me early last year and had everything well planned out with gorgeous details and a lovely entertaining area for guests. Despite the rain in the morning and early afternoon, we were blessed with a clear late afternoon for the ceremony, location photos and then a gorgeous night to see the city lit up!

Tegan is a family friend and it was so special to be there to capture these memories for her! We wish you all the best Tegan and Mark from the bottom of our hearts ♥
